This event was a rare opportunity where 2 generations of alumni belonging to the same domain of law came together to speak with students on the challenges of being a law professional. It was more interesting as the senior alumni Mr Shiv Charan Garg, a leading and well known advocate for the High Court, who is an alumnus of Political Science department, recounted his struggles as a lawyer, while his daughter Ms Jahanvi( an Economic alumnus) and Mr Raghav (Political Science alumnus) are budding lawyers themselves, as they followed in their father’s footsteps. The junior alumni gave a modern day snapshot of the newer domains within a career in law. The ‘family’ of these alumni kept the audience enthralled with their experiences at Satyawati College, across 30 years.
